Marland Heights Community Association:

The Marland Heights Pool is managed by the Marland Heights Community Association (MHCA).  MHCA is an organization of citizens who are interested in revitalizing an historic site and its surrounding area.  Marland Heights Pool and Park (a.k.a. Margaret Manson Memorial Park) is a beautiful register National Historic Landmark structure and is on the WV Endangered Properties list.  The park environment contains public shelters, tennis and basketball courts and a children’s playground.  Although the pool closed in 2005, people from the Weirton Community still use the Park for family reunions, festivals and recreation.

Our vision is to create a self-sustaining recreational environment that serves the entire community, provides ongoing recreational and wellness related activities, and draws the entire community together with pride in their accomplishments.
